Causeway Games Skills Challenge Finals 2021

Causeway Games Skills Challenge Finals 2021

Over the past number of weeks 1st to 3rd year students have been taking part in various Hurling and Football skills challenges organised by Transition Year students. Each year group had an individual skills challenges with points awarded for completing challenges of varying difficulties and with the highest combined scores winning prizes and progressing to compete against the other year group winners. The skills challenges were hugely enjoyed by all the students and were a way to engage in the sports which are so important to school life in a safe and fun way.

The overall finals of the skills competition was held on Friday 21st May with students braving the unseasonable elements to face off in a knockout individual free-taking competition in both codes.
The skills competition has proved to be a huge success and over the last month the prizes given out to students included over 100 sliotars, 25+ grips, signed jerseys, various intercounty and club jerseys and hurleys. Well done to the winners and all students who took part.
